Stuffed Lotus Head Hamster Toy

This is a lightweight re-useable fun foraging toy for hamsters. Please note, because it's a natural item size may vary. I can't guarantee sizes but if you want a smaller one for a robo or a larger one for a Syrian just let me know and I'll see what I can do! 

What's in the lotus head?

Each lotus head is stuffed with a mix of organic seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, flax, sesame and Flax) and organic grains (barley and millet). You can choose to include a refill pouch with the lotus, but you can also re-fill it with your hamster's favourite food or treat mix. 

How do you use the seed head with your hamster?

All you have to do is unwrap it and let your hammy find it. If your hamster eats all the seeds or empties the seed head you can just fill it again with your hammies favorite snacks. 

Flamey has attempted to gnaw on the seed pod head, so your hammy may do the same. It's safe if they do this, but you may find that the seed head degrades over time and may need to be replaced if your hammy rips it to pieces to get their snacks. If they don't do this though, you can keep re-filling the seeds. 

Is the seed head safe for hamsters?

Yes. I have gone to great lengths to source seed heads that are harvested and dried without the use of any chemicals or dyes. Once the seed heads arrive with me, I boil them for 20 minutes to make extra sure that they're clean and safe. Once boiled they go through a drying process and are then stored in a sealed container until they are stuffed and packaged.
