Using your photographs and a carefully designed personality questionnaire, each portrait is lovingly created to capture the tiny expressions, habits, quirks and moods that make your hamster uniquely them. Every portrait is individually illustrated in our signature soft storybook-inspired style, resulting in a keepsake that feels deeply personal and recognisable to the people who loved them most.

Whether you're celebrating a current companion or honouring the memory of a beloved little soul, these portraits are created with care, gentleness and attention to detail.

Meet the Artist

Each portrait is created by Christof, a digital artist with a deep love for hamsters and the tiny personalities that make each one unforgettable.

Rather than creating generic pet portraits, Christof focuses on capturing the little details that hamster guardians know and love, favourite poses, mischievous expressions, sleepy habits and the unique energy each hamster brings into a home.

How It Works

Step 1 — Purchase Your Portrait

Once your order is placed, you’ll automatically receive an email containing a link to our portrait questionnaire. This will come from a different email address than we usually use (Hamster Helper noreply@mail.intelli-ua.com). This just allows us to automate form sending. If you don't receive this within 10 minutes of your purchase make sure to check your junk email and promotions tabs. If you don't receive the email, let us know.

Step 2 — Complete Your Questionnaire

The questionnaire allows you to share:

• Photos of your hamster
• Personality traits and habits
• Favourite snacks, behaviours and quirks
• The little details that make them uniquely them

Please complete the questionnaire within 3 days of purchase so we can begin creating your portrait. If we do not receive your completed form within this time, your order may be cancelled and refunded so the portrait slot can be offered to another customer.

Step 3 — Portrait Creation

Once your form has been received, your portrait will be lovingly created in our signature style. Most portraits are completed within approximately 7 days, though turnaround times may vary slightly during busy periods.

Step 4 — Preview & Revisions

You’ll receive a preview version of your portrait by email. One round of minor revisions is included if needed.

Step 5 — Final Delivery

Once approved, your final high resolution A4 PNG portrait will be delivered via email.

Photo Guidance

For the best results, we recommend:

• Clear photos in natural lighting where possible
• Multiple angles and expressions
• Photos that capture your hamster’s personality
• Including favourite poses, sleeping spots or treasured snacks if possible
