This isn’t your average pet shop mix. It’s a carefully formulated, species-specific blend, handmade in small, weighted batches to ensure consistent nutrition in every single bag.

Roborovski hamsters have different needs to Syrian and Dwarf hamsters, they thrive on a more seed-heavy, lower fat diet with plenty of variety and enrichment. This mix is designed specifically for them, supporting their fast metabolism, natural foraging instincts, and long-term health.

Why is this food good for Roborovski hamsters?

This blend is built around small seeds and grains like millet, amaranth, and grasses, which better reflect what Robos would naturally eat in the wild.

Protein is supported through a mix of insects (mealworms, crickets, gammarus, and black soldier fly larvae) and pea flakes, giving a strong nutritional profile without relying on anything questionable.

You won’t find soya, raw legumes, or anything I wouldn’t feed my own hamster. Ingredients have been carefully selected and processed where needed (like flaked quinoa and pea flakes) to ensure they’re safe and digestible.

Robos LOVE to forage, and this mix leans into that.

Tiny seeds, grasses, and the occasional higher-value ingredient mean your hamster has to sniff, search, and sort through their food, just like they would in the wild.

Herbs and leaves like dandelion, plantain, and raspberry leaf add scent, texture, and enrichment, even if your hamster decides to redecorate their enclosure with them first.

Is this food safe for Roborovski hamsters?

Yes, this mix has been thoroughly researched and designed specifically for Roborovski hamsters.

All food is pre-frozen and packed into sealed pouches. If you accidentally leave it open or store it near non-frozen grains, simply reseal and freeze for 48 hours as a precaution.

Feeding Guidelines

Roborovski hamsters eat around 5–8g per day.

• 150g = approx. 2-4 weeks

• 300g = approx. 5–8 weeks

• 500g = approx. 8–14 weeks

• 1kg = approx. 17–28 weeks

Please don’t over-buy, shelf life is 9 months, and fresh is always best.

What you see is what’s ready on the shelf, when it’s gone, it’s gone until the next batch.

New batches are made weekly. Need a specific size? Email me and I’ll add it to the next batch. Your food will be reserved for 4 days once ready.
