What's in the Christmas Crunch Hamster Treat Mix

The Christmas crunch hamster treat mix contains either 110g or 55g (depending on size chosen). The ingredients are:

• Pea flakes
• Broccoli
• Yellow millet
• Red Millet 
• Emmer (aka Farro)
• Dried carrot
• Dried red bell pepper

Is the Christmas Crunch Mix Safe for Hamsters?

Everything in the mix has been frozen at -20°c for 48+ hours (with the exception of the carrots and peppers as these have already been heat treated when dried) so you can use it out of the bag with confidence.

How to use the Christmas Crunch Treat Mix

The treat mix is quite healthy and doesn't contain many fatty or calorie dense foods, so you can give it to your hamster a couple of times a week. Sprinkle it around their enclosure, hand feed, or add it to forage areas and toys.

Please note, when exposed to air for any length of time the veg may begin to go soft. This is the same with most dried foods. This is fine for your hamster, it's just because the dried vegetables are absorbing natural moisture from the environment.
