What’s in the Blood-Curdling Boo-tanicals Bundle?

You’ll receive:

• 1 × Frightful Flower Forage – approximately 47g
  A dark and colourful mixture of marigold, red clover, hibiscus and rose petals.

• 1 × Bewitched Hay Blend – approximately 120g
  Natural meadow hay blended with hibiscus, marigold and textured amaranth.

• 1 × Graveyard Dirt
  One litre of Hamster Helper soil with a separately packed 45g topper containing burdock root, chicory root and safflower seeds.

How to Use the Botanical Bundle

Sprinkle the flower forage around your hamster’s enclosure, add it to a forage tray or mix small amounts through suitable substrates.

Place loose handfuls of Bewitched Hay Blend in forage areas, tunnels, hides or selected parts of the enclosure. Hay should be used as additional enrichment rather than as a replacement for a deep layer of suitable burrowing substrate.

Use the soil to create a separate digging area, then sprinkle a small amount of Graveyard Dirt Topper across the surface or lightly hide pieces underneath. The soil and topper arrive separately, so you can control the amount used and save the rest for another day.

Important Safety Information

Frightful Flower Forage contains red clover and is not recommended for pregnant or nursing hamsters.

The amaranth flower heads in the hay blend have a naturally firm, prickly texture and can feel scratchy when handled. Handle the blend gently and place it in loose handfuls rather than compressing it.

Food can develop mould when left in damp soil. Use the Graveyard Dirt Topper sparingly, check the area regularly and remove any uneaten pieces if they become damp, begin to spoil or show any sign of mould.

The topper has been tested with the Hamster Helper soil supplied in this bundle. Other hamster-safe soils can have different compositions and moisture levels, so their effect on the topper can’t be guaranteed.

Is the Bundle Suitable for Hamsters?

The Blood-Curdling Boo-tanicals bundle is suitable for Syrian, dwarf, Chinese and Roborovski hamsters, subject to the pregnancy and nursing restriction above.

All botanical ingredients have been pre-frozen at -20°C for at least 48 hours and can be used straight from their packaging.

Store all unused products in a cool, dry place.
